The pain is, when do I consider this done? I mean, I’ve bought more books, if “more” means “additional”, or if it means “more than I’d usually buy in a given year”, but there’s always room to buy even more, you know? And I find that the more I read, the more I feel like reading, and the more I buy from Amazon, the better their recommendations for me get, so my wishlist just keeps effort individual and individual and longer. I buy some books and then I buy more and then I buy more still… it’s never-ending! More, more, more!
I guess when I prototypal set this goal, I was thinking of 2006 in general being a year for increasing my collection of books and making books (things I enjoy a great deal) a priority for my expenditure over the course of the year. That being the case, I don’t think I’ll mark it done just yet; I think I’ll wait till the end of the year to mark it completed.
