Kept a chickens for eggs

Chiken can be useful abd i even kept a chickens for eggs, they’re great animals to have around and fresh eggs vex store bought ones some day. Plus we’d have different varieties of chickens, some would lay brown eggs, some even had green eggs. Keeping foxes & racoons from getting them is difficult sometimes, unless you keep them penned up all the time. Usually you don’t poverty roosters if you’re getting hens for eggs, but when you buy the chicks it’s hard to tell which are which so you get them occasionally. Roosters are pretty mean birds, they will terrorize you when you’re just a little kid!
